Transport Policies

Yes, we can ship your babies Nationwide!

Ground Transport Shipping Available in the continental United States

Our Location: Karnes City, Texas

For individuals unable to retrieve their pets within city limits, we provide ground transportation services.

Full adoption fee and Transport payment are expected upon reservation to avert any delays.

Some transport companies accept deposits, and remaining payment can be settled at delivery. For any pet leaving our care, the adoption fee must be paid in full at the latest the 14th day before your selected pet's ready date.

We partner with reputable USDA-certified and insured transport companies for deliveries. Transport pick-up may require up to 45 days from the readiness date, though typically sooner (within 15 to 30 days). Before purchasing, please bear in mind that we cannot provide a delivery date until our transporter does. While we will try to get your baby to you as soon as possible, not all routes travel through every state. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed, as factors such as traffic, construction and weather conditions can affect actual delivery dates/times. Actual delivery can occur at any time, day or night. An adult must be present to pick up the pet at home or public stop. A no-show may result in the transporter leaving with the pet. The buyer may then choose to have the animals redelivered at the buyer’s expense, schedule a pickup in Karnes City (daily boarding fees apply), or cancel the sale. A cancellation of the sale will result in forfeiture of all deposits, shipping fees, and another shipping fee will be charged to transport the animals back to the seller. Remember, “ready by” dates are only approximations and are never guaranteed, as the animal must be a healthy weight and thriving independent of its parents before going to their new home. We do not provide refunds for transport delays; however, we guarantee the safest and most expeditious routes.

We do not sell pets to individuals residing in regions where they are prohibited, and we are unable to deliver pets to those locations. In every situation, the Buyer/Owner accepts full responsibility for complying with State or City Laws concerning the legality of owning this pet in your location. Any applications from residents in areas where hedgehogs are illegal will be declined and result in forfeiture of any paid balances.

Please Note: Transportation can be distressing for animals; hence, it is recommended that adopters personally collect their pets whenever feasible. The buyer must understand that we have no control over what happens to the animal during transport. Once the animal has left our care, we make no guarantees of the animal's condition when it arrives. It is the buyer’s responsibility to insure any animal throughout transport, if desired. We prefer all our buyers to pick up their new pets from us in person.

Should you opt for transportation, please acknowledge that it is undertaken at your own risk.

All transport fees include travel carrier, food, and supplies for bedding changes. Additional carriers going to the same address will be discounted. The following transport prices are estimates. Final prices are dependent on the transporter used and will be confirmed once transport is booked.

Flat-rate door to door national transport: $200 - $250 (for considerable distances)

Personal transport (less than 150 miles): $1 per mile, with a starting fee of $25

Our trusted transport partners include: KD’s Critter Transport, Tiny Tails Transport(formerly J&T Exotic Gliders & Transportation), and Mel's Neighborhood Transport.

Please note: Mel's Neighborhood Critter Transport provides public stops only, usually one hour away for $45 and our travel fee is $50
(if the stop is Love's in Seguin). We bill to the pickup location (1 way) at $1 per mile. You will also be meeting at a public stop near you.

If you choose a public transport option, please refrain from contacting the transporter about when your animals will be transported. As soon as the transporter has planned the route, the delivery schedule will be posted on their groups hyperlinked above. It is the adopter's responsibility to join the transport Facebook groups in order to be updated on any last-minute arrival date/time changes.
